Privacy
The short version
WaitLess is a free beta planner for theme park days. There's no account, no ads, and no tracking or analytics. Your plans stay on your phone unless you turn on ride alerts or send feedback, and both are described below.
On your phone
Your settings, plans, ticked-off rides and the latest park data are kept in your phone's browser storage so the app works with no signal. They don't leave your phone on their own. Clearing the app's website data removes them.
Ride alerts (only if you turn them on)
To alert you when a ride in your plan goes down or comes back, our server keeps your phone's push address (issued by Apple, Google or Mozilla) together with the rides still ahead in today's plan and their planned times. It's kept for at most a day and a half, and turning alerts off in the app deletes it straight away. The alerts themselves travel through your phone maker's push service.
Feedback (only if you send it)
We keep what you write and the email or Reddit name you add, if any. If you leave "Include my settings and plan" ticked, we also keep that day's settings and plan (ride names and times), your app version, screen size and browser type, so we can reproduce a problem. We use feedback only to improve the app.
Park data
Wait times, ride status, park hours and showtimes come from public sources, Queue-Times.com and ThemeParks.wiki. We save the parks' posted waits to improve future predictions. None of that involves you.
Location
The app doesn't use your location. A future version may offer optional GPS tracking of time in line; it will ask first, and this page will say how that data is handled before it starts.
Who handles it
The app and its database run on Cloudflare. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
Questions, or deleting your data
Email hello@waitlessrides.com, or use Send feedback in the app and include a way to reach you. Tell us which feedback to delete and we'll remove it. Alerts are deleted as soon as you turn them off in the app.
Independent
WaitLess is an independent planner. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Dollywood, Herschend Family Entertainment or any park it covers. Park names are used only to say which park a plan is for.
